Paul John Sorensen

SORENSEN - Paul John Sorensen, Sr., age 68, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Mercy Health-St. Mary's in Grand Rapids, Michigan, following a major surgery. He was born on May 8, 1947 in Cadillac, Michigan.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Lottie (Maddox) and Hank Sorensen, and brother-in-law Terry Bannatyne.

He leaves his loving wife of 32 years, Penny (Kremer) Sorensen; his daughter Tonya Reid, his daughter Toni Maloney and her husband Mike; his son PJ Sorensen; his daughter Dawn Corwin and her wife Mira Jones; his brother Mike (Pat) Sorensen; grandson Blake Reid; his brother Tom (Jackie) Sorensen; and his sister Pat Bannatyne.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, Michigan. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Cook Funeral Home (West building), Grandville, and one hour prior to service on Thursday.
