Pete battled Leukemia and Hodgkin's disease for many years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary; his brothers, Nelson and John Riemersma. He is survived by his wife Beverly; his children, Thomas Wendy Riemersma, Chad Riemersma, Tammy Holmden, Bonita Rick Stevens, Floyd Peggy Nobis, and Thomas Jaime Holmden; his 9 grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Nick Riemersma, Margaret Heemstra, Betty Gaastra, Julie Ken Dice, Arlene Andrews, Lee Stukkie; sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley Riemersma, Fannie Riemersma, Rosemary Kalinowski, Wayne Bliss, James Bliss, Joan Joe White, Gayle Skip Gray; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW - east building with Pastor Theron Bailey officiating.
The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville west building.
