Phyllis Larue Rau

She was preceded in death by her son and daughter, Steven Rau, and Rosemary Rau; and her grandson, Bradley Kregel.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Al Rau; children, Jim and Lois Rau, Rev. Ken and Pat Koole, Dave and Mary Kregel, Dave and Norma Rau, Mike and Elaine Rau; 24 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Madeline Bertsch, Delores (John) Kuiper, and Milo (Dena) DeWald; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Alice Rau, Lila Rau, Ella Hoffman, and Harvey (Lorraine) Rau; and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at Rosedale Memorial Park. A memorial service for Phyllis will be Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Hope Protestant Reformed Church, 1580 Ferndale, S.W., Grand Rapids with Rev. David Overway officiating. Relatives and friends may meet her family Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of her service.
