Priscilla Deleon, age 56, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Angelita Deleon; son, Marcello Deleon; brothers Jimmy Deleon and Raymond Fontanez; and stepfather, Reynaldo Fontanez Sr. She will be lovingly missed by her children Monica (Lamar) Deleon-Marshall, Mario Barajas, Marcos Deleon, Rico Deleon, Ramiro Barajas; ten grandchildren; siblings Betty (Arnulfo) Gonzalez, Luis (Maria) Deleon, Richard (Sheri) Deleon, Linda Deleon, Reynaldo (Filesha) Fontanez, Nicole (Jimmie) Floyd, Johnnie (Alena) Fontanez; stepmother, Nancy Fontanez; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Priscilla was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who was loved by many. Early childhood circumstances, her mother passing at an early age, would prepare her for a life chosen by God. She led with a heart of compassion, resilient drive, and sacrifice. She was fully committed to giving her children, grandchildren, and loved ones the best life possible. She was the type of person to open her arms and home to anyone in need, and made sure they had a plate and seat at the table. Growing up, she had a passion for sports, preferably basketball and softball. She attended Jenison High School (Class of 1983) where she excelled on and off the field/court, even as a freshman on the varsity team. She always stepped up to the challenges of life as she did the court/home plate. Although Priscilla will be missed, she now lives through all of the many lives she has touched. We thank you as you join us to say, "Rest In Peace," to Priscilla DeLeon.
