

Randall “Randy” Lee Fischer, 45, of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away on June 20, 2026. Randy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Valorie (Bos) Fischer and Martin Fischer. He graduated from Wyoming Park High School in 1999 and went on to attend Grand Rapids Community College, majoring in general studies.
Randy met the love of his life, Lynda Kilfether, in 2000 in Game, and they shared a lifelong love of gaming. The two wed on September 15, 2005, at Millennium Park in Walker, Michigan.
Randy worked for many years at Mor-Value Parts as a returns coordinator and at the Builder’s Exchange of Western Michigan as an internet documents specialist. In his free time, he enjoyed games of all kinds, especially Dungeons and Dragons, Euchre, EverQuest, and PS5 titles.
Randy is survived by his wife, Lynda Fischer; two children Alexander Fischer and Micaela (Yuhmontie) Pittman; grandchild, Piper; sister, Jenny Fischer Roberts; brother, David Fischer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James Owen Bos and Bonnie (Sprite) Bos; and paternal grandparents Raymond Fischer and Barbara (Waite) Fischer.
The family will host a celebration of life 12-7 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Millennium Park, 1415 Maynard Ave. SW, Walker, MI 49534. The family kindly requests that guests wear a Hawaiian shirt in his memory, if possible. Attendees may park at Lot A and will make their way to gather at Shelter A.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The GRID Gamer’s Outreach (www.gamersoutreach.org/donate). The program builds portable game stations and organizes volunteer programs for children in hospitals, including Helen DeVos and around the United States.
He was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing their lives with him.
