I owe a huge debt of gratitude to the wonderful man who helped to shape the amazing woman I've had the honor of calling friend for the past 25 years. Kim, I absolutely LOVE who you are and know that your dad had so much to do with that. I know you will miss him terribly, but I know too, that you will hold him in your heart and that he will truly live on through the actions of you and your brothers.

So sorry to here of Randy's passing. I first worked with Randy on 3rd shift, before he went 1st. Since our retirerment I,ve lost contact but know he was a good man, and was proud of his family. May he rest in peace and again my sympathy to you his family.

Our thoughts go out to the family in this time of greit. Brendas father WAYNE LARSEN work with Randy many years before his retirement and death. We work with Randy through our encounters in Die set and setup of production lines, and of course the auto raffles in ohio what fine memories we have. may god bless

We had such wonderful times with Randy, Cheryl and their children! Our favorite memories include our mornings drinking coffee poolside, in Treasure Island, FL., where we spent hours solving all the world's problems watching the sun rise! We all have great respect for Randy...a hard working, family man!

I was sad to learn that Randy, an old high school classmate and friend, had passed away. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Cheryl and his family. As I Iooked back on those, "good old days," in the late '50s I recalled his great and creative sense of humor. The following incident brings a smile to my face all these years later. It must have been the spring of 1958, when a car full of 6 frisky Grandville High School boys were, "cruising," up and down Monroe Avenue in Grand Rapids. There were three of us in the front bench seat, and three of us in the back. I remember that Randy was riding in, "shotgun," and I sat next to him. Suddenly, he bent forward so far that he could not be seen from outside of the car. Picture that in your mind as if you saw it from the sidewalk. It appeared as though I was snuggled up against the driver with no one sitting next to the window. It wasn't until the guys in the back seat began laughing , and Randy started shouting out questions about my manhood that I figured out what was going on. From that day on, I always paid attention to where I was sitting if Randy was in the car.

Dear Cheryl and family: We were shocked and saddened to see Randy's obituary in the GR Press! I was thinking of you recently and thought "I should give Cheryl a call and catch up on her." I have looked at the pictures posted on the Cook website, and I can see that you have a beautiful family. I could also see how much Randy still loved you and certainly loved those nine grandchildren. Our sincerest condolences to you and the family.
 Doug and I have lived in Pentwater for the past 7 1/2 years. We bought a kick-back cottage here 21 years ago, never expecting to live anywhere other than GR. We have completely gutted it, added on a couple times, and are here to stay. If you are ever in this area, please give us a call and say you are coming to visit. Again, our condolences. Linda
