Randal (Randy) L. Huizinga, age 63, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Randy was preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Joan Huizinga. He will be remembered by his wife, Julie Huizinga; son, Jared (Katie) Huizinga; grandson, Ryan; church family and friends.
Randy enjoyed music and playing his trumpet. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. If he wasn't working on a leather project, he could be found doing a crossword puzzle.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A Celebration of Randy’s Life will commence 7 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 with visitation one hour prior at Bethany United Reformed Church, 5401 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509. Rev. Eric Van Der Molen will be officiating. In honor of Randy and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zion Christian School. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.
