He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorine Clay; his children, Raymond L. Clay Jr., Bryan D. (Sandra) Clay, Douglas C. Clay and Brent D. (Jen) Clay; nine grandchildren Kevin, Ryan, Stephanie, Samantha, Jessica, Madeline, Emma, Lily and Kassie; nine great-grandchildren; his siblings Delores Biddinger, Barbara Trowbridge and Randy (Susan) Clay; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Ray was a member of the National Crown Victoria Association, Geezer Coffee and Beer 30 at Bob’s. He was passionate about cars especially 1956 Fords, buying them, restoring them and driving them.
A celebration of life service will be held 1 pm Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St. with a time to visit with family one hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice Trillium Woods.
