He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Navarro; children Howard and Meli Navarro (Emily, Camila, Alessandro), Linda and Carlos Castro (Carlos Jr., Jennifer, Allison), Harry and Mayra Navarro (Nico), Stephanie and Aldin Zahirovic (Leonardo, Zaiden, Enzo, Levi), Bryan Navarro, Elaine Navarro and Rigoberto Tovar (Jonathan, Axel, Ashley, Nathan, Kylie); sisters Cristina Navarro, Maye Reyes, and Yula Reyes.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. Rene’s presence brought comfort and love to every gathering.
Rene enjoyed gambling by playing the slot machines or simply enjoying the atmosphere; those moments brought him happiness and a well-deserved sense of peace in his retirement.
As he often said, “Don’t cry when I'm gone.” Though we grieve his loss, we take comfort in his words and in the beautiful memories he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, Dad.
We love you—always and forever.
