Richard L. Moomey

MOOMEY - Richard L. Moomey, age 73, of White Cloud (Formerly of Grandville), went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Bellant) Moomey; his parents, Harold and Ethel Moomey; and daughter, Deborah. He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Shelly (Bob) Henry, Mike (Barbara) Moomey, Melissa (Brian) Foss, and Jennifer (Paul) Hanson; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 2 grand pups; siblings, Sharon Collins, Mike (Deborah) Moomey, and Kathleen (Marsh) Ryman; very close cousin, Jerry; many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; and his faithful dog, Lucky. Dick worked for and retired from the Bouma Corporation after 40 years.

The funeral service will be held 2 pm Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building) with Pastor Arnie Guikema officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 7-9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home (Grandville, West Building).
