Richard L. Redner, age 78, passed away at Vista Springs Memory Care on Friday, April 13, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion E. Chrisman Redner; father, Norman H. Redner and sister, Linda (John) Chmielewski. Richard is survived by his brother, Michael (Judy) Redner; daughter, Mishelle (Ken) Johnson; sons Robert Redner and Daniel (Sladjana) Redner; granddaughter, Kerri (Rodney) Dooley, and his great-grandchildren. Richard proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years. He was an active gardener, mechanic and always in the mood for a chat over a tall one!
A memorial gathering will be held from 2pm – 5pm on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (Fellowship Room) in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW. In honor of Richard and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice of Grand Rapids.
