Robert Stewart Bailey

BAILEY - Robert Stewart Bailey Jr., age 84, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, September 19, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert S. and Ruby Bailey; his daughter, Vicki Ryan; and his sister, Mary Hondorp.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Barbara A. Bailey Atwood; his children Jean Bailey, Randy A. Deb Bailey; Robert S. Tami Bailey III; his son-in-law Chet Ryan; his eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; his sister Delia Hill; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A time for visiting with Robert’s family will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 4150 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, in Kentwood.

Robert’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Brookcrest. The family welcomes entries to their Memory Book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com. In honor of Robert, contributions may be made to the John Knox Food Pantry or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
