Robert "Bob" Land

Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Land.

He will be lovingly missed by Ruth, his spouse of 63 years; son Gary (Holli) Land; daughter Sharon (Mike) Harig; grandchildren Rob, Cameron, Taylor Land, Matthew, Chloe Harig; sisters-in-law Judy Land and Mary Terpstra; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was the president of Grand Valley Redi-Mix and then Ottawa Aggregates. He honorably served his country during the Korean conflict. Bob was a board member of Porter Hills and served multiple terms as an elder and deacon at Standale Reformed Church. He enjoyed a very active lifestyle that included travel, outdoor activities, golf and tennis. His love for his family was only surpassed by his love for his Savior.

The family wishes to express special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Spectrum Butterworth and Faith Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 18, 2019 at Standale Reformed Church, 202 Cummings Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI. Relatives and friends may meet Bob's family 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Bob to Standale Reformed Church Scholarship Fund.
