Robert R. Bradford

BRADFORD-Robert R. Bradford, aged 79, of Grandville, peacefully passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Douglas Bradford. Bob will be missed and was greatly loved by his wife of 56 years, Jean; his children: Brian (Christine) Bradford, Karen (Donald) Nicholls, Tim (Tracy) Bradford, Bill (Kathy) Bradford, Kelly (John) Lawrence, Kristi (Chris) McDougall; his 14 grandchildren; and his sister Beverly Roeger.

After serving in the military Bob began his 38-year career as teacher, coach, and administrator with the Grandville Public Schools. He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

We would like to thank the staff of Sarah Care at Metro Health Village for the loving support provided to Bob and Jean. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday at St Pius X Catholic Church with Fr. Chris Rouech celebrant.

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. (west building) and one hour prior to Mass at Church on Wednesday.

A vigil service will be held 8:30 pm Tuesday evening. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfuneralservices.com Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
