In the last 3 weeks, I lost my final remaining 2 grandparents. One from each side of my family. I always felt so lucky growing up to have such amazing & involved grandparents. Inevitably, some always become closer than others.  But in my adult age, I became closer with my grandpa whom I was not as a child. 
He taught me a lot. Humbled me a lot. Made me realize what’s really important in life. He was kind of an asshole sometimes, but aren’t we all. 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️
Helping care for him the last few years has been a great honor in my life. 

& being hours away from 35, & realizing I have no grandparents left earth side with me, is a really strange feeling I haven’t quite processed.   

Friends, life is so short. Your family is not around forever. Your grandparents, if you’re lucky enough to still have them, want you there. Go be with them. ❤️

Love you so much Grandpa! We will miss you more than you know but I will hold onto all the wonderful memories.  Say hi to Grams for me!

Great man another hunting buddy in Heaven. He taught me many good things in life and will be truly missed. What a blessing to have him in my life 🙏🙏
