We are so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.  He lived a good and long life.  We had many great times together, from playing cards to dancing to just sitting around and talking..   He loved to dance and he enjoyed it so much.   Lots of memories to keep.  Unfortunately we will be unable to attend his service.   We will be with our Colorado grandson and wife and two little ones, but our hearts will be with you that day.  God bless you all and be assured that we have you all in our prayers and thoughts.

Bob was a wonderful man. He always had a warm smile and twinkle in his eye.  He had a gift for making others smile and laugh.  Rest in peace Bob and thank you for raising such good people.

To the naked eye, some may see a unassuming man. If, lucky enough, you personally had a front row seat to learn. He did not need, require, or want a spotlight. His stood side by side with his life partner, had a infectious laugh, and a quiet strength that spoke volumes. He showed the same enthusiasm while watching the Tigers, Steelers, or the Wizard of Oz with grandbabies on his lap, balancing a Big bowl of popcorn.

Bi-weekly, on Saturdays, we were #1 on Bobs “errand list.”
He hand delivered Jean’s fresh,  homemade 
bread. Wrapped in a towel and still warm!
I would be handed the bread as Bob sat in his seat at our table, where a cup of coffee, and two napkins,( just in case ) awaited him. We knew the drill. I would cut the coveted heel of the bread, slather it in butter, and place it in front of him. He’d tell a couple stories, chat about his golf game, and of course all the grandbabies. With ONE ring of our phone he would look at his watch, wipe his mouth one more time, put his cup in the sink, and as he headed out the door, he’d  yell over his shoulder laughing,  “ Tell Mom I left”!
( He always left the towel behind )
A few years Iater, I noticed a familiar thermos & lunch cooler standing side by side against the wall of a ICU room. He filled his thermos & made his lunch day in & out to be with his life partner, his love, his wife. I believe she felt his love and quiet strength that ran deeper than anyone could know.
We are among the lucky, for 35 + years. Memories & moments that can be cherished for years to come.
He lived and loved well.

To Bob Freund's Family; I am so sorry for your loss, he was a fine, fine man.  Prayers for all of you in your loss.
