Robert E. Larson

LARSON Robert Elmer Larson, age 91 went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, July 28, 2018. Bob was born March 1, 1927 in Berlin Township, MI to Elmer and Sarah (Aldrich) Larson. Bob served his country faithfully with the U.S. Navy during WWII.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years, Jean; children, Cheri (Paul) Brown, Bob (Kelsey) Larson, Chris (Larry) VanderHeide, Steve (Lorrie) Larson, Ron (Barb) Larson, and John (Shelly) Larson; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Deb) Larson, and Richard Larson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William (Gerry) Peterson, and Ann (John) Bowers; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, August 3, 2018 at North Park Baptist Church, 3365 Coit Ave., NE, Grand Rapids. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet Bob’s family from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the VanStrien-Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE, Grand Rapids, and Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10-11 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bob may be made to Continental Baptist Missions or Beacon Hill at Eastgate.
