Robert Lee Taylor

TAYLOR - Robert Taylor, age 74, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, June 18, 2006, after a long battle with health problems. He was preceded in death by his step-sons Everett, Greg, and James Hall; his parents John Ruskin and Hilda Taylor; his brothers John Jr. and Emmett Taylor; and his sisters Catherine Cheszbro and Marian Darwich.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Mary Taylor; his children Tanya Tim Fowler, Tracy Paul Mastrangelo Taylor, Todd Jan Taylor, Mike Mary Dies, Marie Luke Smith, Debra Hall; his 13 grandchildren; his 4 great grandchildren.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid fisherman and he was employed at WOOD TV 8 for 35 years. Most of all he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Robert’s family will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building.
