
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Dolores; his children, Douglas Kelly Val, Patricia Rowe, Richard Shirley Valk, Steven Trisha Rogers Valk, Robert Lanie Valk, David fiancAC.e Lisa Einberger; his 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his sisters, Bertha John Kramer, Marie Leussenkamp; and brother Clarence Schadler.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 19 from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville, with Pastor Jack Lynn officiating.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
