Aunt Marilyn, Bobby, Tim and Randy~ First and foremost we want to tell you that our prayers and thoughts go out to all of you and your families. But John and I know what a special family you have and that together you will get through these times and soon you will be remembering all the great times and laughter there was. Uncle Wiere was the best! John and I's fondest memories are the times out at the ghetto dock, Christmas get togethers and the visits that he and Aunt Marilyn would make to our home with our Mom and Dad-and John says he can't forget the hunting up at the cottage with him! To all the Vander Wiere's: I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Vander Wiere. There will be weeping and rejoicing both in the days to come... Rejoicing because all his pain and earthly cares are cast away and he is in Glory, but weeping because you miss him so. Peace be with you.

We are really going to miss you Uncle Bob, all the memories and all the times we had together while we were growing up. The Little League Baseball, the rides on the cruiser out at Lake Michigan, hunting trips up to the cabin and later the Lake! Will never forget the trip to MCAS Cherry Point where you and my Dad were flying the A-6 Intruder simulator!! It was all great fun and what good times were had by all. In oh so many ways we are going to miss you but we are also glad that your time of pain and suffering is over now as well. Now we will look forward to our time when we get together with the boy's and Aunt Mar during the holidays or other times and will remember when Uncle Bob did this or when he did that! You may be gone Uncle Wiere but never forgotten!
