Roger Elliott

ELLIOTT Roger Elliott, age 89, of Byron Center, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by brothers, Victor, Doyle and Versile Elliott. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Elliott; his children, Joanne (Tom) Buck, Roy (Marilyn) Elliott, Tim (Faith) Elliott, Tom (Corinna) Elliott, Nancy (Craig) Meyer, Mari (Todd) Foster; his 14 grandchildren and their spouses; his 12 great grandchildren; and his sister, Marge (Mel) Reese.

Roger was a Charter Member of Byron Center Bible Church and still served on the Mission Committee. He was a good and faithful husband and father. He enjoyed working in his vegetable garden and the camaraderie of deer hunting and fishing. Roger was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He worked for 42 years as a welder for McInerney Spring & Wire. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Roger's family will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday, November 9, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 - 84th St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday at Byron Center Bible Church, 8855 Byron Center Ave. Rev. Rich McCarrell will officiate.
