Robert Eugene Pyle, age 71 of Grandville, died July 23, 2026. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to Dorothy E. (Mackey) and Earl E. Pyle on September 11, 1954. He lived all but about three years of his life in Michigan and was definitely a Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions fan.
Roger was a 1972 graduate of Wyoming High School. He enjoyed celebrating holidays, eating hot dogs, and playing Yahtzee! He was a generous, enthusiastic, and a good sport.
He is survived by his sisters Shirley Pyle of Crystal, and Barbara (Rod) Denning of Grand Rapids; nieces Anna Denning of Portage, Abby Denning of Manhattan, Kansas, and Lydia Denning of Grand Rapids; aunt, Nancy Ooley; cousins Lisa Johnson, Michelle Ooley, and Kristine Reed, all of Minnesota.
