Ronald Lee Vander Moore

Surrounded by his family, a most beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend, Ronald Lee Vander Moore, age 50, passed away on January 31, 2017.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Phyllis Vander Moore, Virginia Vander Moore and Gordon Drenth; sons Tyler Vander Moore, Collin Vander Moore (Emily Comer), Clint Vander Moore (Rylee Foster); grandchildren Aderyan and Alby Vander Moore; sister and brother-in-law Melinda and Dennis Morey; grandmother Florence Vander Moore; special friend Kelly Churchill; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Ron was a graduate of Byron Center High School (class of '84), and he dedicated over 30 years of service to Steelcase. He was a sincere and kind-hearted man whose greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and family. Ron will be missed by all who knew this gentle and loving man.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Sacred Heart Mission Church, 2036 20th Street, Allegan, Michigan, with Fr. Christopher Derda officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St., and one hour prior to Mass on Saturday at the church. Interment will be at Boynton Cemetery in Byron Center.
