She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dr. William Alt; her children Nan Alt, Karen (Mark) Kraemer, Robert Alt and Gretchen (Matt) Ames; her 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; her brothers, Oswald (Warrie) Petrucco and Dr. Louis (Evelyn) Petrucco.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building) 4235 Prairie St. SW. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to services on Saturday. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookfamilycares.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
