Rose Marie Ostrowski

She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 18, 1929 the daughter of Salvator and Rosalie (Ferrante) Russo. Rose worked many years at Rowe AMI building jukeboxes. After retiring in 1992, she enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her family and spent much of her time with her family and grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Robert (Barb) Ostrowski, Julie (Frank) Verburg, Lisa Cox; daughter-in-law Cheryl Ostrowski; grandchildren Miranda Durham, Brad Verburg, Kelsey Bort, Jessica Scheck, Kayla Cox, Marisa Ostrowski and Ashley Ostrowski; great-grandchildren Kenna, Brinley and Owen Durham, Raegan and Jack Bort, Jayna and Kensley Scheck; many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2014 and her son David in 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 23, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, Michigan, with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church on Monday. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum. Rose’s family will meet with friends and relatives Sunday, January 22 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East bldg.), 4235 Prairie St, S.W., Grandville, Michigan, with a Vigil beginning at 7 p.m.
