Rose M. Russo

Rose M. Russo, age 90, of Grandville, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Vigenzo Russo, and her sister, Anna Hankiewicz.

She will be lovingly missed by her sons Steve (Sally) Russo and Vincent (Peggy) Russo; grandchildren Jinnjer, Tony, Kristopher, Jason, Stefanie, Amy, and Adam; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and siblings Joseph (Jackie) Naimo and Mary Grace Muma.

Rose was always busy as a fantastic cook and baker who loved the casino, bowling and golf.

The family wishes to express special thanks to all the nurses and staff of Brookcrest Nursing Home and St. Ann’s Home Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Rose.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Church, 2700 Baldwin, Jenison, MI. Relatives and friends may meet Rose's family from 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI, as well as one hour prior to the service. A prayer vigil service will held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rose to St. Ann’s Home Hospice or Brookcrest Nursing Home. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book on line at www.cookcares.com.
