Ruth M. Vredeveld

VREDEVELD (BRIGGS) Ruth M. Vredeveld, age 83, passed away, Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was preceded in death by her sons, David and Steven Vredeveld and her brother, Daniel Briggs. Ruth was also preceded in death by Louis, David and Steven's dad; he passed away shortly before they were going to be remarried. Ruth is survived by her siblings, Bonnie (Bud) Garvin, Ronald (Arlene) Briggs, Shirley (Jack) Koehler, Dale (Andrea) Briggs, Judy (Henry) Romyen, William (Jaci) Briggs; and her nieces and nephews. Ruth could often be found working around her house with a hammer or paint brush in her hand. She was extremely independent and very handy.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday at Cook Memorial Chapel in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW (east building), with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10 AM.
