

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Longo; children Joe (Deb) Longo, Maggie (Jim) Veenstra, John (Ann) Longo, Paul Longo and Bill (Lynn) Longo; grandchildren Kristin Longo, Jason (Leslie Pena) Longo, Drs. Jesse (Michelle) Veenstra, BreeAnn (Nik) Czuprinski, Erin Longo, Mary Longo, Nic Longo, Zak Longo, Tony (Sarah) Longo, Matt Longo, Jacob Longo, Andrew (Meredith Chojnacki) Longo, Jonathon Longo, Josh Longo, Sarah Longo and Rebecca Longo; great-grandchildren Grayson Longo, Ashlyn Longo, Tony Longo and Aria Forrest; sister-in-law, Dorothy Williams and many nieces, nephews and friends.
First and foremost, she loved spending time with her family. Sally was an avid quilter, enjoyed shopping, eating chocolate/desserts and also camping. She cheered for Notre Dame and her alma mater, Catholic Central. During the winter, she spent time in Florida at her home. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish.
Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 -8 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. A prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish, 2700 Baldwin St., Jenison, MI 49428, with visitation from 10 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
In memory of Sally and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
