RODGERS a?" Scott Rodgers, 64 years old, of Hudsonville, died peacefully in his sleep on July 12, 2011. We are blessed to know that he is in the arms of Jesus and has no more pain. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dawn Rodgers; his children, Douglas Rodgers (Angie), Chasity Lindsay (Jim), Jessica Rodgers (Jamie), Brandon Rodgers (Nicole) and Jacob Rodgers (Alicia); his seven grandchildren, Tucker, Brenna, Quinlan, Hali, Arielle, Ellia, and Sage. Scotty fought cancer by setting goals revolving around his kids' and grandkids' accomplishments. He was a connoisseur of diners, drive-ins, and dives and we will miss his advice on where to eat. Scotty enjoyed fellowship with his cruising buddies. The funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday at Celebration Bible Church, 4690 a?" 8th Ave, Grandville with Pastor Paul MacDonald officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 6 a?" 9 pm at the Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville (East Building).
