Sena B. Moberly

MOBERLY - Sena B. Moberly, age 86 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, C. B. Moberly; and mother Christine Rayhart.

She will be lovingly missed by her children David (Cheryl) Moberly, Christine (Gerald) Gorecki, Marjorie (Craig) Rockwell, Patricia Moberly, Cevin Moberly, Cara (Don) Gregory; grandchildren Christopher Uber, Kimberly Uber, Michael (Kim) Gorecki, Kathryn (Michael) Tooman, Kimberly Rockwell, Matthew (Melissa) Rockwell, Becca Rockwell, Sara (Alex) Pitt, Christopher (Brianne) Gregory, Cooper Gregory; seven great-grandchildren; brothers William (Sherri) Clay, Archie (Helen) Clay, and sister Lorraine (Pete) Post; nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Sena was a devoted mother to her six kids and many foster children, an avid and competitive card player, and a wonderful cook.

Visitation with the family will be held 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1984 Bridge Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Pastor Robyn Gray will be officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
