Shelae Rae Ridenour

On April 4, 2018, the gates of heaven opened and Jesus took Shelae’s hand and led her to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mazie Ridenour, brother Bill, and sister Joyce. She is survived by her brother Dick (Lorraine), nephew Rich (Stacy), niece Mary (Mark) Fletcher, and several great-nieces and nephews and their children whom she loved very much.

Shelae will be remembered for her fun-filled sassiness, her loving kindness, and her love for dogs, leaving her puppy “Puff.” As a child, Shelae came to Grandville from Bremen, Ohio. She was a life-long member of the Grandville United Methodist Church.

The family wants to especially thank the nurses and staff at American Home, Cherry Wood, for their loving care for the last three months and to Faith Hospice for their care the last few days of her life.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Grandville United Methodist Church, 3140 Wilson Ave., SW, Grandville, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Ryan Wieland will officiate.
