

She was the wife of the late John Chamberlain and the mother of the late Pamela and Thomas Chamberlain.
She is survived by two sons, Phillip and Esther Chamberlain, Larry and Carla Chamberlain; her daughter-in-law, Teri Gilger; her grandchildren, Ben Chamberlain, Kelly (Heath) Port, Luciana Chamberlain, Caleb (Kerri) Chamberlain, Mindy (Ron) Denning, Shelby Chamberlain; and six great-grandchildren; and special friends, Dolores Lares and Rosie Van Wingen.
Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and cherished her role as a great-grandma. She was an accomplished businesswoman, store owner and realtor. Shirley loved cooking, crafts and casinos.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home (West building) in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St., S.W.. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 20, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), with a luncheon to follow. Her former pastor, Rev. Horace Boone, will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods.
