In loving memory of Shirley Mae Smith, a remarkable soul who brightened the world for 93 years. Shirley peacefully passed Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Her love for family and animals knew no bounds, and she leaves behind countless memories of warmth and kindness. May her legacy of selflessness continue to inspire us all.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Anderson; grandson, Jason Greene; great-grandson, Jordan Shambeau. She will be lovingly missed by her children Diane Smith, Lori (Smith) Martin, Cynthia Smith, Richard Smith, Ronald (Laurie) Smith; grandchildren Angie, David, Christine, Adam, Brian, Tyler, Lindsey, Kara, Courtney, Christopher, Cassandra, Jessica, Derek, Jenna, Kendell; 20 great-grandchildren; and many friends that became family.
Visitation with Shirley’s family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418.
