Shurlie Meitz

Shurlie Meitz, age 78 went to be with her Lord, Saturday, October 29, 2011. She was preceded in death by her father Eldon Strong and mother Alice Sullivan. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Richard Meitz; children Rick (Dawn) Meitz, Ron Meitz, Bob Meitz, Jim (Denise) Meitz, Karen Meitz; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Shurlie was active with her church, supported Stephen Ministries, President of Welcome Wagon and loved everybody she encountered. Visitation with the family will be held from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm, on Friday November 4th at Cook Funeral Home (West) 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville. Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Resurrection Life Church with Pastor Dean Wheeler officiating.
