Stephen Levi Anderson

He was born on March 27, 1940 to Axel and Myrtle (Stephens) Anderson who went on before him. He lived in Grandville, Michigan most of his life and graduated from Grandville High School.

Steve leaves his loving wife of 58 years, Karen (Mills) Anderson; his children Susan (Scott) Kornstadt, Shelley (Stuart) Hershberger, Sheryl (Don) Stephens, Sondra (Ron) McIntyre and Scott (Nicole) Anderson; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; brother, Grant (Ruth) Anderson; sisters Sandra (Charles) Martin, and Pamela (Ken) Dumond.

Steve worked at Rapistan, Inc. and retired as a faithful employee of Steelcase after 35 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be missed by all his family and friends. Thanks to all the wonderful caregivers who cared for him.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI with Pastor Dale Kronemeyer officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Stephen's family from 10 - 11:30 AM the day of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Stephen to Grandville Baptist Church “Building Fund” or Barnabas Ministries.
