Steve E. Houghland

HOUGHLAND – Steven Edward Houghland, born July 31, 1931, of Wyoming, passed away at home on Saturday, April 17, 2010, with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by many of his loved ones. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 47 years, Elsie Marie Seaben; daughters, Rainel Randy Ames, Linda Ron McKenzie, and Nancy Charles McCormick, Jr Houghland; grandchildren, Randy Robert, Miranda, Rachel, Rebekah, Nickol, Heather, Charles III, Logan, and Erin; and great-granddaughter, Angel. Steve always provided the best he could for those he loved. He retired from Steelcase in 1993, after 44 years of service. The funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel, Grandville East Building. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, West Building.
