Steven Todd VanPutten, age 52 of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord Sunday, September 14, 2025, following a tragic car accident. Steven was the youngest child of Kenneth and Gloria VanPutten who recently preceded him in death. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Terri (Ernie) Skidmore, Mark (Kim) VanPutten, and Michael (Leigh) VanPutten; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Steven had a kind and caring heart that often went unnoticed due to his struggles with anxiety. He loved his family and always made sure to end his conversations with, “I love you.”
A celebration of Steven’s life will commence 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, with visitation one hour prior, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Steven will be interred at Rosedale Memorial Park at a private family service later that day.
