Sylvia Hill

HILL - Sylvia M. (Beverwyk) Hill, age 85, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. Sylvia was born June 3, 1929 in Wyoming, MI to John and Marjorie (Fountain) Beverwyk. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mina Bosgraff, Edith Westmaas, and Gretchen Gebben.

Surviving are her children, Debra, and Dennis; step-daughter Sandra; grandchildren, Jason (Sherri), and Rebecca; great grandchildren, Alanna, James, Kaylynn, Madison, Thomas, and Keegan; sister and brother, Dorothy DeWitt, and Jack (Nellie) Beverwyk; brother-in-law, Ken Westmaas; nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Genny Yaple.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 AM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, with Pastor Aaron Shaw officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. Relative and friends may meet Sylvia's family Friday from 6-8 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (west building) and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of her service.
