KERKSTRA - Thomas J. Kerkstra "BT", age 68, walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Today the heavens celebrated the home coming of this dear sweet, loving husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. Goodbye my sweet sweet love.

To be missed by his wife, Rosalin, (Roz); children, Karla (Scott) Haveman, Tom Rumble, Jody Rumble; and daughter-in-law, Terri Rumble. Grandchildren, Jeremy Rumble, Dalton Burke, Jason Haveman, Alex Russell, Pierson and Olivia Rumble. Brothers and sisters, Nancy (Richard) Mate, Ruthann (Tracy) Meadows, Eileen (Tom) Gifford. Dan (Pam) Kerkstra, Terry (Lisa) Kerkstra, Jodi (Mike) Slagter; Sisters-in-law, Linda Kerkstra and Patty (Bob) Senneker. A very special uncle to his many nieces and nephews that were so very special and loved by him.

He was proceeded into the golden gates by his parents, Jacob and Dorothy Kerkstra and his brother, Jack Kerkstra.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Saturday and Sunday at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie - East Building. Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Resurrection Life Church in the Rez Kids Chapel, 5100 Ivanrest with Alan Kerkstra officiating.
