He is survived by his mother Deb Karlek, and father Kirt Karlek, his siblings Alyssa Karlek and Nate Karlek; his grandparents Chuck and Sally Dear, Richard and Margaret Karlek; his aunts and uncles Chuck Dear, Chris (Kurt) Kruithof, Kris Karlek; and many extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie Street, SW. A time to meet with Tyler’s family will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service at the Cook Memorial Chapel.
