Viola May Smith

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Harvey Ter Haar. Viola will be lovingly remembered by her children, Harry L. (Margaret) Smith, Betty Ter Haar, James (Joan) Smith, Marcia (Michael) Schillim, Donald (Cathy) Smith, Dale Smith, and Richard Smith; her 23 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Betty Storms; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger (Eva) Smith, Laurie Smith, and Marion Landis; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may meet Viola’s family Thursday, March 31 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St., S.W., Grandville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2016, at Beverly Reformed Church, 2141 Porter St. in Wyoming. Rev. Eildert Zwart will be officiating. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery.
