Virginia Lee Berg

BERG SHERRILL - Virginia Lee Berg, age 65, of Byron Center was embraced by Jesus on August 12, 2010. She is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 42 years, Bernard Berg; her five children, Laura Ursiny, Jay Jacqueline Berg, Sylvia Dave Rhodea, Rebecca Aaron LeClaire and Emily Steve Formsma; and her sisters, Patty Sherrill Holderman, Patty Jean Emigh; and her brothers, Eugene Karen Sherrill, Richard Kathi Sherrill; is loved and sorely missed by her 15 grandchildren.

"Ginny" was raised in South Bend, Indiana. She endured 30 years of physical hardship while remaining a loving and faithful wife and raising five children through her unwavering example and spiritual instruction, teaching them to glorify God for ALL HIS "good gifts". She enjoyed mentoring women and sharing with them God's precious Word at Calvary Baptist Church in Grand Rapids.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 - 84th St. SW. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ada Bible Church - Kentwood Campus, 2045 - 68th St. SE. Pastor Darrell Yoder will be officiating.
