
Surviving are his children, Martha J. Carver of Toledo, OH, and W. Paul Elizabeth Carver of Dale City, VA; brother-in-law, Mark Vance of Peoria, AZ; sister-in-law, Betty Schwickrath of Tinley Park, IL; cousin, Frances Francis Fleeger of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews.
Bill served in the US Navy in WWII and was a member of the American Legion and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Grandville United Methodist Church, 3140 Wilson Ave. Entombment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo, OH.
Relatives and friends may meet Bill’s family Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building, 4235 Prairie SW. Those unable to attend the visitation or funeral service may sign the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralservices.com.
Memorial contributions may be made to Spring Arbor University Foundation, Clark Retirement Community Benevolent Fund or the Salvation Army.
