I have met Bill off and on through the Non -Profit organization I use to work for. He was not only very intelligent and charismatic but giving, courteous and could leave you with a beter day. I am very disraught at what has happened, he had such hopes and dreams, each time I told him he still had time, never give up. For someone to do this to him breaks my heart. he may have never obtained what he envisioned in life but to those of us he has touched, comforted or just made us laugh, he has his Immortality.Many Blessings upon your Family, I know he loved you all. v.k.

I am Bill's cousin and always thought highly of him and his family. Even though I have not seen Bill in several years, I have not forgotten him and my memories of him will always be fond. What happened is extremely tragic and our family has lost a person who still had great potential. My heart feels empty and I give my condolences to Bill's immediate family.

Billy has been in our prayers for many years. We're sorry to hear of his life ending and joyous to know that eternal life is beginning. God has prepared a place for us that is much better than what Billy has lived through here on earth. Take comfort in knowing that his struggles are over. Hello, Although you don't know me, I am the mother of someone who once dated Bill. The few times I spoke with Bill, I found him to be a very interesting person and highly charismatic in nature. Today, I just want to share with you that in the few short visits I had with him he talked very highly of his family and how supportive they were to him.

I went to school with Bill. Bill and I were in a small group of friends in junior high but we all went our seperate ways in highschool. Although I have'nt seen Bill in years, I have fond memories of him and those times long ago. Having lost many loved ones myself, my heart and prayers go out to each and everyone who loved him most. Dear Theresa and Tom, Bill was a very well known and great person. Sorry to here of sure a tragic loss. I have only great memories of Bill and your family. I have lost one of my brothers as well due to drunk driving half-brother, and there are no words that can heal your pain, but know that you have a lot of support. Bill lived in my home as a tenant for a short time 2 years ago. My husband and I liked him very much and were happy to see him progress to independence. We are stunned and saddened at his tragic ending. We pray that his family can find comfort through Jesus Christ and that Bill has found peace.

To the family of Bill, I was very saddened to hear of Bill's death, Wednesday evening. Too late to attend the service. I came to know Bill in recovery, at the North Club, early in my own recovery. I knew him as a kind, gentle soul. I knew that he struggled to grasp and hang onto recovery. I last saw him this Spring at the Spring Roundup. He was dancing. His death, how his body was treated breaks my heart. This terrible disease of addiction takes wonderful, bright, talented people. Bill was one of those people. I knew Bill when his hopes were high and his faith was strong. His quick wit and ease with people made him popular but, his quiet intellect and passion for living made him special. For a person with his overwhelming potential for acheivement to meet his end this way is a tragic waste. Those who knew him will feel the absence of his robust laughter and his charming demeanor. I knew Bill well but anyone could tell he loved his family very much. He always spoke of you with pride. I do not know much about his later years, yet I do know that he would have put every ounce of his ambition into overcoming his addictions. Perhaps because Bill was so exceptional, he had to work harder than the rest us for peace.

I have lifted up to god in prayer all the family members ad loved ones of Bill's.That God will hold you in His arms and comfort you in your time of grief and guide you through that process. I knew Bill for years from the Alano club and then more recently I had the opportunity to talk with him almost everyday while he was at ITF in Ionia, he worked for me in the fronthouse. Only the most trusted guys with the most potential have that position. Bill always had high expectations and when he didn't reach them the feelings of shame and guilt got to him so much because he was so super sensitive, which is also a quality that made him special. He was guestioning so much on how to get back what he had when he first got sober, how to get that relationship back with God and trying to understand what His plan was for him. I believe he is with God now because I know he had accepted Christ, just didn't know how to use Him for stength and protection. I would really like to talk to his sister someday and share somethings I know he was going through. God Bless You
