William Young

Wm. Richard "Dick" Young, age 86, of Jenison, went to be with his Lord, Friday, January 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Donna Mae Chaffee Young and his siblings, Hugh Young, his twin sister Ginny Balkema and Bette Heffron. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Evelyn VandeReit-Oosterbaan Young; his children, David Chris Pequet, Dale Dawn Young, Debra Young Bill White; his grandchildren, David Tamsyn Pequet, Matthew Pequet, James Young, Lauren Young; his great granddaughter, MiCayla; his step-children, Tom Bonnie Oosterbaan, Bill Mary Oosterbaan, Joy Rev. Ron Messelink, Jeanne Brad Cook; his many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his sisters-in-law, Marci Young, Mary Stan Van Dokkumburg and Arlene Chuck Zandstra.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Dick's family will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday at the Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW west building. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday at the Cook Memorial Chapel east building. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens.

In honor of Dick, contributions may be made to Mel Trotter Ministries.
