
Wilma was a past member of the Altar Society at St. Pius X Catholic Church and past president of the Women’s Guild Knights of Columbus.
She was also a Girl Scout leader for six years.
Mrs. Schneider will be sadly missed by her husband of 65 years Clarence; son Edward W. Schneider; daughter-in-law Erma Schneider; grandchildren, Chris Brian Barres, Scott Shelly Schneider, Lisa Dennis Vainavicz; and seven great grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother Ed Shirley Purcell; two sisters, Ardith Purcell, Arlene VanderJagt; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday from St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, please meet at the church, with Fr. Michael Danner Celebrant.
Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
The family will meet with relatives and friends on Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. from the Cook Funeral Home, Grandville 4235 Prairie St. SW - west building.
A Rosary will be held Thursday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.
