Zander Gerard Hatfield

HATFIELD - Zander Gerard Hatfield, age 6 months of Hudsonville, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 after a long battle with physical problems. Zander’s soul is now set free. In his six months, Zander touched many lives. One scripture reading clearly represents Zander’s journey here on earth. Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Zander will be dearly missed by his parents, Rick and Nichole Hatfield; brother Landon; grandparents, George and Judy Hatfield and Don and Pinque Veach; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

A Mass of Thanksgiving will be held on Friday, June 20 at 11 a.m. from St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3739 Wilson Ave. SW in Grandville, with Presider George Darling officiating.

Interment will be in Georgetown Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends at the church on Friday, one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
