

Donald Anderson Piasecki, 67, of Grants Pass, passed away Sunday August 13, 2017. Donald was born in Detroit, Michigan to Leonard and Nellie (Milosovich) Piasecki and was one of 6 children. He attended Ohlone Junior College, in California, and later served in the U.S. Army for four years. Donald was a proud Vietnam Veteran and a survivor of Agent Orange exposure. He was awarded the U.S. Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Donald loved to fish, camp, golf, and spoil everyone with his culinary skills, gifts and trivia. He especially enjoyed playing gin rummy and dominoes with his “adopted sis” Reggie. Donald will be remembered as very loving and generous to those he cared about. May God bless him and put him on the fast track to heaven to join his 2 1/2 year old daughter, Shannon, who passed on Christmas day in 1974.
In addition to his daughter, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Piasecki and sister, “Dolly”. He is survived by his brother, Raymond Navarro of California, and sisters, Diane Meeks of Alabama, and Chris Wall of California. Professional services entrusted to Chapel of the Valley- L.B.
