Elizabeth Ann Austin
November 13, 1938 – February 23, 2018
Elizabeth Ann Austin peacefully departed this world for the next on Friday, February 23rd, surrounded by love, after a short illness.
Elizabeth was born in 1938 in Oklahoma. She spent the majority of her life in Geyserville, CA where she and Skip raised their family and where she worked as a secretary for the Geyserville Unified School District for more than 20 years. She also worked for Mike Long Financial for several years before her retirement. After their retirement, Skip and Liz traveled across the United States for several years and finally settled in Rogue River, OR. After settling in Rogue River they enjoyed many outings with their RV Club, The Rogue River Roosters.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Squire and Gussie Bradley, her brothers Wilbur, Lloyd and Kenneth.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 61 years, Archie (Skip) Austin; her children, Lynn (Dave) Saccomano, Douglas (Chris) Austin and Meri (Ken) Melani. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brittany (Zac), Lauren, Brian and Rebecca, her brothers Chester and Richard and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was private and a Celebration of Life will be held for Liz at a later date. Professional services conducted by Chapel of the Valley- L.B. Hall Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.chapel-valley.com.
