Evelyn Vilene (Pigg) Binder-Gade passed away peacefully at her home on October 4th, 2026. A lifelong resident of Grants Pass, Evelyn was a proud 1956 graduate of Grants Pass High School. She dedicated many years of service as an executive secretary for the superintendent at both district 7 and the Three Rivers school district.
Evelyn married Howard Binder, whom she has six children with, five sons and one daughter. Evelyn got remarried to Ray M. Gade and they have 35 wonderful years together. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Joel Howard Binder, her parents Clifton Edward Pigg and Carrie (Lewis) Pigg, her siblings Darlene McCoy and Richard Pigg, and granddaughter Brittany Rene Orton. She is survived by her four sons, John Binder (Penny), Jeff Binder, Mark Binder (Patty), Todd Binder (Karen), and her daughter Rebecca Orton (Mike), seventeen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Murphy Outback Youth Ministry. 8561 New Hope Road at 2:00 on November 7th. Refreshments and memories served afterwards.
